Verdelski Miller Annual Scholarship

Verdelski Miller, an experienced attorney hailing from Evansville, IN, boasts a remarkable career spanning over three decades. Throughout his extensive legal journey, he has adeptly handled more than 85 jury trials, a testament to his wealth of experience and expertise in the courtroom.

His educational background is equally commendable. In 1979, he completed his undergraduate studies at Jackson State University, earning a Bachelor of Science degree. Later, in 1983, he furthered his education by obtaining a Master’s in Public Administration from the same esteemed institution. Driven by an unwavering passion for law, Verdelski pursued his Juris Doctor at the University of Arkansas, graduating in 1988. His admission to the Indiana State Bar in 1989 marked the commencement of his impactful legal contributions to the state.

Who Should Apply
This award seeks students with diverse backgrounds of race, ethnicity or faith, obtain the degree of their choice from any eligible college, university, graduate school, or law school. Applicants are encouraged to apply in fields in which they have traditionally been underrepresented: science, math, engineering, technology, business, and law. Applicants must be enrolled in or committed to attend a college, university, or professional school during the current calendar year in which they applied for the scholarship. Applicants must be U.S. citizens at the time of their application. Applicants should not be immediate family members of employees of Verdelski Miller Law.
